What are MSCs
MSC’s are cells that have potential to develop into many different cell types in the body. Under the right conditions in the body or a laboratory, these cells divide to form more cells called daughter cells. These daughter cells either become new cells or become specialized cells with a more specific function.
Immature MSCs
These cells have the potential to become any cell in the body. These kinds of cells can be extracted from the umbilical cord tissue after a C-section birth.
Adult MSCs
Adult MSCs cells do not have the most growth-factor potential and can’t change into other cells like immature MSCs cells can.
